Virginia Kirkpatrick Biography

Virginia Kirkpatrick knew that she wanted to be an artist at a very young age. She started studying art in high school, and participated in art classes from Tulsa Community College. She taught Indian, Western, impressionistic, landscape and portraits, in oil and acrylic, working with both live models and on location for several years. Her paintings are collected by private collectors throughout Europe and the United States, as well as by many businesses internationally. She is an active participant in local shows, such as the “Art in Miniature Show” sponsored by the Gilcrease Museum, the “Oklahoma Wildlife Art Festival”, “Mayfest”, “The Oaklahoma Art Workshops Annual Art Competition”, the “Bartlesville Art Association Spring Show’ and “Art on the Square” in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
